"Palestinians Invade Israel" the "news" headlines screamed, but, from my observations from afar, the Gazan's activities are centred in areas of Palestine ethnically cleansed of Palestinians, and occupied by Israeli settlers...So Shouldnt the headlines read "Palestinians 'invade' Palestinian Territory" ?

No, they should read "Palestinians fight to expel the invaders".

All your facts are wrong, where are you getting your fact that there was a Palestinian state there before 1946? Who recognized such a state? You can’t even call Israel as state of israel and referring it instead as a regime. 165 of 193 UN member states recognize Israel. May be its time for you to do the same. You live in an alternate world. There won’t be peace until all palestinian fractions and Iran recognize Israel’s right to exist.

No, you are wrong.

Golda Meier actually stated that she was a Palestinian citizen after she landed in Palestine in 1921, and carried a Palestinian passport until 1948.

There are many states that are regimes, you are playing word games here. I call it a regime because it does not represent a large number of the people within its own declared borders and has ethnically cleansed many previous residents and has illegally annexed territory from other states (including Syria).

Israel has a right to exist within the allocated UN borders, no one really disagrees. It has no right to the lands that it stole from Palestine. You are playing a standard disingenuous straw-man trick here. When will Israel recognize Palestine's right to exist in its UN designated lands?

Thank You, Roger. This continues to be in daily flux. Israel might be backing off a bit in genocidal rhetoric, and for reasons... https://drjohnsblog.substack.com/p/assuming-positions

Going into Gaza would be a disaster for the IDF, both on the ground in Gaza and as the trigger for a Hezbollah full scale engagement. One gets the feeling that the Israeli leadership really do not know what to do, except for carper bombing Gaza, and may have been caught in their own trap. The West, through their unequivocal support to the occupiers, are destroying whatever goodwill they had left with the non-West. All of their "humanitarian" rhetoric is being shown for the cynical propagandist hypocrisy that it is.
